Building upon a legacy which once was, what better place to plant a restaurant that transcends back in time than the old Newport Plaza theater, located at 600 West 35ht Street in Norfolk Virginia. The theater was built in 1928, a time when Jazz was fresh and new. Following this period was the Harlem Renaissance, an era originating in Harlem New York. Entertainers like Lena Horne, Sarah Vaughan, Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Josephine Baker and the like, were carving out their names in History.
